The BSC Young Boys defender, who is currently on-loan at Werder Bremen, is pleased with his debut against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Francois Affolter has expressed delight on his Bundesliga debut for Werder Bremen after joining them on a six-month loan from Swiss club, BSC Young Boys. The youngster arrived in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 last week, and has been training with Bremen’s
first team ever since. He was included in the squad to face Leverkusen, and got the immediate nod of his manager, Thomas Schaaf.

the second half.
The Swiss international admitted that he was nervous before the game, but all the nerves settled down once the match got underway. He mentioned that his focus was to help his side achieve all the three points and climb a few places
up the table.
While talking to the official Bundesliga website, the 20-year-old defender further added:
"Of course I was a bit nervous before kick-off, it was my first game after all. But that all disappeared as soon as the match started because I was concentrating on the task at hand and soon got into the swing of things."
On the other hand, the player confirmed that he was satisfied with his outing on Saturday, but not with the result as both teams had to share the spoils.
“I'm happy with the way I played. I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't been in the starting eleven in Bern for a while, but from the off I had a good feeling. I was calm on the ball and tried to help the team as much as possible.
Unfortunately the result wasn't what we wanted, which is a shame because everyone was fighting for each other,” the youngster concluded.
As a result of Saturday’s draw, Bremen find themselves fifth on the league standings with 31 points, nine points short of the leaders, Bayern Munich.
