"We will simply follow our philosophy. So I expect young players like [Jeffrey] Bruma, [Gokhan] Tore, [Jacopo] Sala, Son [Heung-Min], and [Tolgay] Arslan to take the next step forward. They need to improve; the potential and the
quality is there," he is quoted as saying in an interview.
He also revealed that the club is in the market for a new creative midfielder, and the fans should expect to see the new signing after the 2012 European Championships have ended.
"A creative player for the midfield should come. How long should the fans have to wait? After the Euro we will make moves in the transfer market,” he added.
Hamburg is popular for developing young players, and they unearthed a few stars in the past. Rafael Van der Vaart was relatively unknown before joining the German club, but his performances for Hamburg put him in the spotlight.
