After only featuring in two games for AFC Bournemouth thus far this term, the former FC Utrecht striker has stressed that he will try his utmost to fight for his place in the starting XI.

The 30-year-old has failed to feature in the Cherries first team since October 2, when he was stretchered off the pitch in the 11th minute in his side’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Crawley Town.
The Dutch hit-man, who arrived at Dean Court from FC Utrecht earlier this year in the summer transfer window, has expressed his disappointment over his lack of playing time.
“It is really tough. In my whole career I have never really sat on the bench, I have always played. At the moment I am not even on the bench so you feel a little bit useless because you want to show yourself”, Demouge was quoted as saying to the English media.
The 30-year-old, who spent 11 years in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Willem-II-c40945 Tilburg and the Utreg, went on to insist that he will continue fighting for his spot in the playing XI.
“I am a fighter though and I want to fight for my place. I know it is going to be hard getting into a winning team, but I also know there will be chances and I want to be there to grab them”, Demouge added.
Some reports in English media claim that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Utrecht-c39237 attacker is not happy at his new club, and would be leaving the Cherries at the end of the ongoing 2012/13 season.
However, the veteran talisman has made it clear that he has no intentions of leaving the League One outfit.
“I want to stay here in Bournemouth. It is a nice place and a nice club and I hope I can get back into the first team soon”, Demouge concluded.
The Dutchman, who has loads of experienced under his belt, has an ongoing contract at Dean Court that runs until the summer of 2014.
