Frank Gore or Steven Jackson?

Question

I was offered Steven Jackson for Frank Gore in a straight up trade. My only concern for Jackson is his current hold out. Opinons??? I have Gore as my RB1 in my league followed by Willie Parker as RB2.

I don't particularly like either of these two guys this year, but Jackson definitely has the better upside. Remember Mike Martz is in San Francisco this year and if his previous years with Detroit are any indication, he isn't going to run a lot at all. Gore has been a disappointment ever since his first breakout season. I don't know why he keeps ketting drafted highly. Jackson is the superior talent and is in a better position to get the ball more often. Neither are on a good team, so that basically cancels out. If you factor in the contract situation, that's still 2-1 in favor of Jackson. I say go for it. And with Willie Parker as your RB2, you should have a very good RB corp this year. I like Parker for about as many yards this year as he had last year and he'll improve on his TD totals as well. Very good value for a RB2.

Jackson is a monster!  He'll sign before the season starts.  Grab him from the fool.

jackson is a much more complete back and the rams can not afford to not sign him
