Frank Lampard Senior certain Guus Hiddink is next Chelsea boss

The Blues are currently without a manager, having sacked Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti after the last English Premier League fixture of the season.
The former AC Milan manager had led the London side to their first ever double a year before but a trophy-less season was something Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could not ignore.
With Ancelotti gone, the Blues are on the look-out for a replacement and after countless rumours Guus Hiddink has emerged as the favourite for the post.

Even though Hiddink barely had three months in charge of the Blues, he managed to lead an out of form side to a FA Cup trophy.
He could have done well in the English Premier League as well if Chelsea weren’t so far behind on points to league leaders Manchester United.
Even if Hiddink had managed to win all the remaining games, there was no possibility to Chelsea claiming the Premier League crown.

“It's a busy time now. It's an important time in the next two or three weeks to get the players in that you need.
And I would think that Chelsea will appoint someone sooner rather than later.
Something will happen in the next three or four days, I would have thought, to get someone in and then get moving and get some new players organised and some of the other players may be going out.
If I was to have a bet I'd say Guus [Hiddink].”
