Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed he believes the Blues UEFA Champions League win could have its effects on the upcoming European Championships.
Frank Lampard, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 have all been selected by new England manager Roy Hodgson to represent England in the upcoming Euro 2012. However, they have been given some time off after their dramatic win in the
UEFA Champions League over Bayern Munich.
The Blues defeated the German side at the Allianz Arena in the penalty shoot-out, winning 4-3. According to the midfielder it was good that the Chelsea players had been given some time off since they would rejoin the England squad with more confidence and
belief.
Lampard said in an interview:
“It's nice for the Chelsea boys because we'll go with confidence with England when we join up next week. England have got a strong squad and we'll go and join up with a spring in our step.
If we can bring some of the play, the spirit, the determination - whatever it is that's won us the Champions League - into the England team then hopefully that can help this summer.”
The 33-year-old was certain the Chelsea players at least were brimming with confidence and that only meant good things for the England squad. Lampard believed the Champions League win could go on to play a big factor for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 in the European competition.

Cahill revealed:
“With three of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boys being defenders, knowing each other's game and personality, it hopefully bodes well for us and we'd like to all play a huge part.”
Along with Cahill, the rest of the Chelsea players will also be excited to rejoin the England squad after their small break after their win in the Champions League final.
