Frank Lampard claims he may never be fit again
Chelsea’s talismanic goal scoring midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097 has gone ahead and stated that he might actually never be a hundred percent fit again.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international spent close to four months on the sidelines for the team earlier this season. This was due to the fact that the player suffered from hernia and a groin problem going on at the same time; however after surgery he found it close to
impossible to find match fitness. The player was initially expected to be out for a couple of weeks, but those weeks turned into months. Nonetheless, the player has now finally managed to become a part of the starting eleven on a regular basis again.
However, the severity of his injury is such that the player has gone ahead and stated that despite being a part of the team again, he would have to nurse his injury for the rest of his career.
The player has as a result joined the list of players at the Stamford Bridge, who have long term injuries. Famous names include http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809, who has a chronic injury problem, which resurfaces every now and then.
Lampard is reported to have said: "I've got to try to keep it strong because I've got a weakness there. My tendon came off the bone and it doesn't go back, you just have to stay very strong in that area.I've spoken to players who've had it and they know
the frustrations and the aftermath and what you have to do."
The fact that the player has admitted having such a severe problem only means that Frank has already started to feel the effects of the problem at hand. However, considering the fact that Lampard is one of the most professional players around, he is bound
to not let his injury get the better of him.
Nonetheless, that being said, it is not going to be long before his age and his injury get the better of him and Lampard is forced to call it quits on his career.
