Chelsea’s midfield maestro has revealed that he was never disrespectful to Andre Villas Boas at Stamford Bridge and that he just told him that he wanted to play frequently for the club in the UEFA Champions League as well as
the English Premier League...

media outlets in the country as several people suggested that it was Frank Lampard’s discontent with the manager that led to his dismissal from the club after a shaky run of results in the Premier League.
Lampard did not perform well under Andre Villas Boas and as a result he was put on the bench by the Portuguese manager who joined Chelsea in the previous summer transfer window from Porto after Roman Abramovich parted company
with Carlo Ancelloti. Villa Boas eventually got dismissed from his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.
Chelsea have since turned their Champions League campaign around under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo’s temporary leadership as they won the second leg at home by four goals to nil. In addition to that, they also won their recent F.A Cup tie
against Leicester City by five goals to two courtesy of a fine performance from the back in form http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707.
Lampard said, "His plan was long-term. But somewhere in the middle of that, the present didn't go so well - and that's where the problems came. To be fair to AVB, that was part of the remit and I get that we need to move on and
change. But you can't lose sight of the present."
He added, "I wasn't disrespectful. I just told him I thought I should be playing. I told him what I felt and he had no problem with me saying it. I wasn't making a stand. The fact we might not have seen eye to eye was irrelevant
to me."
