Frankbrunosbro favourite for Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy - Heat 1
Frankbrunosbro has got a solid chance of shining in the Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy - Heat 1 at Nottingham in England on Monday, June 25, 2012. If he manages to win, a cash prize of £125 will be awarded to him.
The competition will be tough in the 480 metres race, which is scheduled to start at 20:07 GMT. However, the punters should place more bets in favour of Frankbrunosbro, who seems to be in pretty decent shape at the moment.
The K. Hackney’s trainee has performed well in Grade OR events throughout his career. He made his debut last year and has gained a lot of experience since then. His recent form has been good, which will definitely boost the confidence of his team.
Frankbrunosbro participated in a T3 event at Monmore at the end of May and his performance was quite impressive back then. He displayed excellent speed and was seven and a half lengths quicker than the second placed hound.
The blue dog went onto win a race afterwards in the first week of June. He was given a starting price of 3 to 1 back then and completed the overall distance in 28.48 seconds, which was almost a length better than the runner up hound.
However, Frankbrunosbro was unable to repeat a similar run in his most recent Grade OR outing, as he finished fourth, despite being rated as the favourite to win. He was quickly out of the blocks, but was badly crowded on three occasions, which cost him
a chance of fighting for victory.
The son of Droopys Scolari out of Drumcrow Martina will need a clear run in order to fight for victory at Monmore. He is the oldest runner lined up for action today, as he was born in September 2009.
On the other hand, Slick Saleen is also expected to make a strong impression in the race, as he has got brisk speed. He does not have a lot of experience, participating in just three races in this class, but his performances in them have been good.
The K. Allsop’s trainee managed to win one of those races in a convincing manner. He did not allow anyone else to come closer and triumphed by six lengths. If he repeats such a show today, he will definitely take the top spot yet again.
