Frankie Mariano makes his come back to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats line-up: Rugby League
Frankie Mariano of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats has been named by John Kear in the Wildcats’ 19-man squad which will meet the Bradford Bulls tonight, September 9.
Mariano had sustained an ankle injury a couple of weeks ago and remained off-field. Now that he has recovered fully, he will take part in Friday night’s clash.
Along with the much talked about Mariano’s return to the Wildcats, there are a host of other players who have crept their way back into the Wildcats’ line-up. This includes players like Jeremy Smith, Jarrad Hickey, Josh Griffin and Lucas Walshaw, who were
out of rugby scene for quite some time on account of injuries. James Davey will remain off-field for tonight’s big game because of his head injury.
Wildcats’ outgoing coach has been really stressful, as he wishes to exit out with an impressive last final game of the Super League XVI season which will wrap up tonight, therefore ahead of this match a number of changes have been made to make sure that
Wakefields give a tough match to the Bulls.
According to the news in speculation, Richard Agar of Hull FC has gone ahead with a quit, because of the offer from Wakefield to succeed Kear, as their head coach.
An official announcement for this succession is yet to be made by the Wakefield. Hulls have confirmed Agar’s exit, which will follow by the end of this season.
On the other hand, there are some changes within the Bulls’ line-up too. Tom Olbison who sustained a serious ankle injury in June is making his comeback for some on-field action.
Ian Sibbit of Bulls with injured wrist will miss out on the clash. Gareth Raynor, who missed last week's game against Crusaders with a toe injury.
Amongst the 19-man squad of Wildcats following players are included; Korkidas, Rinaldi, Morrison, Lee, Tony, Smith, P. Johnson, Morton, Gledhill, Mariano, Howarth, Veivers, Higgins, Wildie, Griffin, Amor, Moore, Tadulala, Tongia.
The final line-ups for the clashing teams have been disclosed. All Kear is hoping for is a perfect exit, with a win against Bulls tonight.
