Question

If you can have any of those two combonations playing for your team (only one) in 2009 and only playing for one year which pair would you have and why?

Brisbane boys

Hawthorn boys

Essendon boys

Geelong boys

Brisbane boys: I like the idea of the twin towers firing, both are level headed on the goal tally, and both got 5 goals in last nights shocker (I lost my only tip so far from that game).

Franklin & Roughhead. Brown & Bradshaw are a more injury prone(??) (not sure if those are the right words I am looking for....)

haha go the bombers lol. I'd go with hawk boys because there both young talented players, lloydy might be able to teach Franklin to kick straight, then he'll be unstopabable!

Brown, Bradshaw. Can't have blokes that can't kick, and admire themselves on the big screen. Come to think about it, at 20, Buddy seems already to have a huge ego. I think he'll go "pop" too, and throw a tantrum before long. The other guy is OK. Mooney, are we talking AFL or pugilism? The Essendon boys? I agree, LOL, 10 years ago.

mooney johnson duo share the goals with others 2 much if they r gonna be power forwards (they have their own comp 4 most goal assists)

hawks duo r 2 inaccurate

and just no 2 the bombers!

Hawks boys, but im lucky i barrack for them and they will play for my team a lot longer than 1 year.

Franklin and roughhead would be my choice. Good question i have thought about this a bit myself. Franklin and roughhead are so  versitile as you saw against collingwood, both of them went foward and played wing and even dropped back into the backline.

Franklin and Roughead - they've kicked 143 goals for the season so far. Both very strong and have the capability to kick bags of goals every game. You know that when Franklin isn't having a good day Roughead will be and vice versa.

Next would be Mooney and Johnson. They have 72 goals and 40 goal assists, more assists than Brown, Bradshaw, Franklin and Roughead all together. I wouldn't mind any of those in my team though, except maybe the Essendon duo - too old :)

Hawthorn Boys: They are still young, and play pretty consistently. If Buddy could kick more accurately, they'd be even better.

No way can a defender play on a strong forward like franklin and roughhead steps up when buddy doesn't play a good game.

They pretty much get 5 goals a game between them
