The legendary Bayern Munich defender has offered his support to the Hamburg manager after a recent run of disappointing results.
Franz Beckenbauer is confident that Hamburg will avoid relegation this season and has defended Fink after recent reports that the manager’s job is in danger. He mentioned that Fink will not give up that easily and will certainly
save the club from going down.

problems in the latter stages of the competition as Fink will have a full squad at his disposal and no major injury concerns.

"I can guarantee that Hamburg will not be relegated with Thorsten Fink. Thorsten is a warrior and he is one who always faces up to the pressure and never needs any excuses. He will get his team tuned in for their important matches.''
On the other hand, Beckenbauer advised Hamburg to keep their calm ahead of Freiburg game. He suggested that the Red Shorts should go all out against the 17th placed side and come out with all three points.
However, he insisted that Freiburg are a fighting side and their displays in the recent games against Schalke, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich have been exceptional.
Freiburg held the Munich giants and the Foals to a goalless draw and defeated the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues which speaks of their fighting spirit. Hamburg will host Christian Streich’s side on Saturday, March 17, at the Imtech Arena.
"Despite their many injuries and suspensions, I expect Hamburg to win. They must not underestimate Freiburg, though. They have been playing well for weeks,’' Beckenbauer concluded.
Fink took charge of the depleted Hamburg side last year when they were bottom of the table. Since then, the manager has done a fine http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879.
