Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer has hailed goalkeeper Manuel Neuer as the best in the world. He claimed that Bayern have made a brilliant decision to buy Neuer in the summer and praised the player’s brilliant performances
for Schalke last season.
Manuel Neuer has been under fire after his mistake cost Bayern Munich defeat in the opening match of the season. The goalkeeper had a mix up with defender Jerome Boateng on a clearance and Borussia Monchengladbach forward Igor

Beckenbauer defended Neuer on the mistake and claimed that Die Bayern have done some great business in the summer transfer window to sign the German international. He insisted that the Bavarians had the opportunity to buy the best
in the world and they surely did it.
