This is so funny how people take it so personal. Still cant get over Castillos losing to PBF twice. let me go get a fire extinguish because your on fire and still cant put it out. lets take a history lession. There guy's were boxing for money becuase they didn't invest. That's how guy's become a stepping stone, not investing and have to fight past there prime for money. Margo biggest pay day is 1mil ish and Cotto is 3mil ish. Make sure you get your lie straight. PBF had one year lelf on his contract with Arum and he paid him 750k to get out of it. Oscar and PBF has had the biggest pay day since they left Arum. Arum was taking PBF money and admitted he owe's him. PBF filed a law suit against him. It's on the web, do your reserch. Arum was the same guy that put him in the same rank as Ali but now dislike him. You have to remember, Margo cant aford to lose another fight because his career is on life support not PBF. Margo has spent the last part of his career trying to get back on top and failed over and over. Is this his last run for Margo? Clottey wanted a rematch and Margo said they should go there seppate way's. It's on the weg to and Im not talking about a form. Dont get me wrong, I think he's a great fighter. Can Margo say when he retire, I made enough money, I dont have to come back? Look at Sprewell in NBA. He has to sell every thing he has now. There's a life after sports once all the fame is over. Jordan shoe's, cloose cost alot of money but he dont have to come back and play again for money. Im not mad at him being smart about long time planing.

i agree some what, i think they should strip his belts if he dosent fight the winner of cotto vs margarito. he is his own worst enemy, being un active in the boxing world will be the reason he gets his first loss. he should be fighting every six months, going down the list of the top 10 in his weight class.

Guys like Mayweather hurt boxing. Instead of seeing the best fighting the best, we see them fighting guys have no business being in the ring with them, or guys they already beat in unneccissary rematches.

First Oscar fight was a glorified sparring session/business transaction that warranted no rematch. Yet both fighters are acting like first fight was Ali vs Frazier and definitly warrants a rematch.

Mayweather thinks he's a big draw, yet has to make a fool out of himself going on "Dancing With The Stars," where only burn-out athletes go on, like Holyfield or Jerry Rice. Or Wrestlmani, again where past their prime guys like Louis, Ali, Tyson went on to make money because they were broke.

Cotto is a big enough draw, and a Mayweather vs Cotto fight would make lots on PPV. But the risk is too high for Mayweather, who rather take low risk/ high reward meaningless fights like Oscar and possibly Hatton rematch.
