  1. is/was it your first audition? usually, unless you're really amazing (not saying you're not), you probably won't get a good part on the first. (my first character in a play was offstage and said "there's snacks in the lobby!" and that was it.) but just because you don't get it doesn't mean you're not good.

if you get at least a small line, take that as a step forward and not as a failure. as you go on, you'll probably get more advanced n your acting. if you have the "step-forward" outlook, eventually your confidence will build with every audition.

being optimistic is always great 8D

  2. Well sweetheart, usually when anyone does there first audition for drama, singing, or acting it does seem that everyone feel nervous, dizziness and also out of control because they do not know what to expect and how did they do. If you think and feel that you did good that is good positive thinking skill. Good for you Girl well I hope you did well. Wish you luck and really don't worry how you react it is your way of expression. :)

  3. Remember when you audition for a part, the selection process isn't only based on your performance but on how you fit the part you're trying out for. You can only do the best you can and hope for the best results. In any event, don't take rejection too much to heart. Just because you don't get casted in the part you want doesn't mean you weren't good. It's usually only one person's opinion and any participation in a show is better than none. Lastly, if you love acting, no matter what, don't give up fine tuning your skills and showing off your gift. Someone is bound notice.

  4. I agree with Somethins GOTTA give,

The trick is to audition and Forget untill/Unless they call you for callback.

  5. I always do that. The secret is forget about having the auditions. If you dont think you even ever auditioned then not makin it would be fine. And if you did make it wou would be ultra happy.

If you have trouble forgetting, take your mind of it by concentrating on finding more auditions for plays and stuff and preparing for those auditions. Dont make this a big deal, because its not.
