Freaking out here...is it possible to get freckles as you get older?

Ok im 23 and ive always had clear skin- meaning i only have 1 brownish spot on my face and its very tiny so i guess you could call it a freckle im not sure....but now im starting to notice that i have 4 or 5 around the cheek area theyre pretty tiny and kinda spread apart..

My mother has freckles so could it be genetic?

yeah it is, but whats wrong with freckles? there cute! I love mine and alot of guys do to. stop whinning about it and act your age!

i am 25 and every summer i have new freckle/moles ( not the raised ones just dark dots) pop up. i never had them before but the sun actually makes them worse ( i worship the sun) start using a sun screen. it sucks but skin cancer is worse.

Ive herd that normally freakles fade when you get older but i guess they can get smaller too. I have LOTS of freakles on my nose and i use lemon juice on my face and then go lie out in the sun for a hour. It helps fade my freakles. Maybe if you do that they will go away since your saying they are light and small. Hope i helped!

yes, and the older you get the more of them you might develop. It depends if they are actual freckles or skin discoloration, that is usual process of aging though. Nothing bad

i usually dont have freckles and i never did when i was younger but i get them in the summer now that im older, its very normal.

This is the summer. You probably are in the sun more and the freckles are a result. They'll go away.

Don't freak out, you just got cuter!  Girls with freckles are HOT! The more freckles a girl has the HOTTER she looks! Freckles are the first asset I look for on a girl before asking her out on a date.

It is unusual to start getting freckles in your twenties, but it is very possible especially if one of your parents has them.  You can also expect to get even more when you are pregnant, if you're prone to getting them.

The brown spot on your face is probably a small flat mole.  Freckles will fade and darken with exposure to the sun.  Take good care of your new Angel Kisses!  I love them on girl's faces.  Freckles RoCK!
