MY FAV QUOTE..."an experssion of feeling has just run down my cheek"

Thats beautiful....ive also read other slavery books, like Beloved, and Autobiography of Malcolm X...very INTERTESTING...to see how the books compare, as they are both somewhat on the same topic

Fredrick Douglass is an astounding author and the way he reached it is just as mind-blowing, going from a slave, know as a white man's property to and acclamted writer, author, and in my opionon poet...

His Book really inspires and makes u realize just how LUCKY U ARE TO BE ABLE TO READ IT AND WHAT A FORTUNE IT IS to experss urslef in writing, it is a PRIVLEDGE and a RIGHT...and Douglass took great advantage of that!!

  2. It is an excellent book, for both its literary qualities and its historical significance
