Free DVD ripper that bypasses copyright?

Question

I'm looking to rip DVD's to put on my iPod but the copyright seems to be getting in the way. I'm using Handbrake on Windows at the moment. Anything free ripper that ignores copyright?

ipod supports mp4 format, so you need to convert dvd movies to ipod mp4 format, and then drag them to your ipod  with the sync of itunes library, which can be downloaded on http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ for free.
