Free MMORPG that differs from the rest?

I have played many MMORPGS, from MapleStory to SilkRoad, and i'm really bored of grinding to gain levels. Is there a free MMORPG that has little grinding and more quest based? Please do not say WoW coz i refuse to buy it

I think you have hit on something, about all games having that grinding feeling at times to gain levels. I really haven't played for a while but I always thought Dikumudd was cool, but you will get that grind for a level thing and it is text based. Having been out of the loop I love Oblivion on PS3 how the open format allows for unlimited exploring and the dang game is so huge. Well I don't think I helped much except that someone needs to jump on that and come up with a quest based RPG , the problem is than you need to reward players differently like with equipment and such, but do you make it limited ??? Which than limits the number of people who will play cause they can't have access to the best stuff ???? and than does it top out ???Only so many quests ???? Good Luck

play on one of the thousands of free servers for Ultima Online.  old-school, but still better than anything that's out now.

Of all the free to play MMO's, Fiesta seemed to have the least amount of grinding early game. I didn't get too far so I am not sure about the end game. Although they do have Kingdom's Quest which is pretty fun.
