Free Online Textbook Downloads???? HELP?

Where can I get free online textbook downloads or at least the first chapter download???

I ordered my books for school online and still haven't received them!!! grrrrrr

If it is a traditional text book for a class like Psychology 101, then chances are you won't find anything on line for it.  Some e-books are specifically created just for on-line courses though.  But if it is a class that you are going to in person, then you may not find any chapter on line.  You might want to email the book's publishing company though.  Perhaps THEY have some of the book's chapters available in a .pdf file to send you.  It's worth a shot to at least ask.
