Free Quickbooks alternatives?

Are there any Free Quickbooks alternatives? I am looking for powerful software, everything I have found to date is very unprofessional and I would not trust my finances to it. I am also looking for free consignment store software - but I know that is a long shot.

  1. I have just come across NolaPro - http://www.nolapro.com/index-5.html -  but I have not had the time to evaluate it properly.

    If double accounting is not necessary then there is also LessAccounting - http://lessaccounting.com/


  2. Actually, Staples is offering a version of Quickbooks free after rebate in their ad this week, which comes out tomorrow (Sunday).  I saw it on a blog and checked the ad myself:
