since is't so expensive to buy them can anyone send me a pattern for ladies english show vests?

have you looked on Ebay? My sister found patterns on there. They are not very hard to make at all. Worst case scenario if you have an old one take a seam ripper and gently take it apart and trace the pieces then re-construct them. You will get creative as you go.
