Free Student Travel?

Question

does anyone who is currrently a student in the uk tell me if travel is free if you live a certain distance from a college? As I would be using the train daily and would never be able to afford getting there. As I have not found a part-time job as of yet.

If anyone can help with government website etc! It would be greatly appreciated!

They used to when i was in college in 1993 but you would get a grant if your parents do no work which helped pay for travel books etc but i don't know everything is different now,why don't you ask in your college there must have people who advise you on these type of things.
