I am not aware of anyone offering free taf's.

You can go on your phones browser and go to http://aviation.mobi  This is designed for the iPhone, but it works on some other phones.  

It will give you just about every bit of aviation weather information out there.

try texting to ChaCha (242242).  Theres an actual person who answers all your questions.  If you send something like "Terminal Aerodrome Forecast KJFK" they can send you the answer.  But be very careful.  Those are not pilots answering your quations, and unlike Google, the result is not generated by the NWS so it is not "official"
