Free Teen Summer Programs in Texas?

I am almost 17 and I don't want to sit around all summer doing nothing, so I want to volunteer or travel, and help people or animals or something similar to those things! But it has to be free. I would love to go on a missionary trip to mexico or africa!

You could volunteer at the SPCA (Humane Society), they would love to have you.

So far as the Mission trips, the young people I know have been working on their trips for almost a year raising funds, with car washes, garage sales, and bingo's.  Most Churches also have a Mission fund and will help their members with the financing..ask your local Churches.....good luck to you....thank you
