Free Vehicle history reports?

This might sound unusual but my VW Jetta has just gotten stolen. I filed a police report and cancelled my insurance. I'm trying to find anything that can help .. maybe a vehicle history report might be helpful in some way.. but how do i get a history report for free? a detailed one?

  1. I'm not quite sure why you want the vehicle history report for a stolen vehicle. It's not going to show you where your car is, or who stole it. If it's recovered, your insurance company will know about it.
