Hi! I'm planning a 2 week trip to these cities and I can only stay 1-3 days in each one. I will be there in the last week of October/first week of November so seasonal activities might change. I'm looking for a basic introduction to each city, hoping to have suggestions for where to eat, what museums, attractions, and churches to go to, and what to do while there....BUDGET will be limited...thanks!

  1. Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm on a limited budget is a tall order. Copenhagen and Oslo are two of the most expensive cities in the world, and Stockholm is no bargain either...

Copenhagen: Tivoli, Little Mermaid statue, Louisiana (an art museum - the building & grounds are nearly as intersting as the art), Carlsbergs Glyptotek (museum).

Stockholm: Town Hall (site of the Nobel dinner each year), Royal castle, Drottningholm castle (the royal family's castle just outside of Stockholm - well, not really outside anymore - the grounds are modeled on Versailles), Gamla Stan (old town), Vasa museum (17th century warship + beautiful museum building), Millesgården (a park filled with Carl Milles statues).

Oslo - haven't been there much... Akershus fortress, Vigeland sculpture park (very cool...).

Hope this helps - have a great trip!
