Free computer regisrty repair

Question

I saw a artical online the other day about a free trial on computer registry scan and repair it said it would find and fix all problems for free on a free trial and like a idiot I did not write the site down and now I cannot find it all I can find are ones that will scan for free but want to charge to repair. My computer is running slow and I would like to run this to see if it works. Can someone give advise on what to do short of buying a new computer.

CCleaner is free and it really works. Be sure to look over the options carefully, and let it backup your registry when you use the registry feature. Use it to clean junk from your PC, then click the registry icon and scan and "fix" your registry. CCleaner is a great tool.

I would suggest you run the disk defragmenter and do this:

firstly, download ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ . Using this will clean up your unused registry, anything no longer used and clean temporary files store online.

Secondly, scan your PC with your PC antivirus and antispyware, if you have,

Lastly, go to 'start > all programs > accessories > disk clean up, then disk defragmenter.

After completed these steps above should improve your PC performance. It did to mine PC with almost 6 years old.
