Free download program that does pic resizing,colour adjust..?

Hi,im looking for a program that does picture resizing (possibly can do more than 1 pictrure at a time) and where i can adjust the colour settings. I use to use roxio , but cant use that anymore. Does anyone know of a free program that i can download that wont give me any viruses ?

If you want something like Photoshop, but free, you can try out the GIMP from http://www.gimp.org/ It's really awesome at editing, and if you know photoshop, this is it.
