ok so my friend used to work at this small golf course that has a 9 hole regulation course and a 9 hole par 3, and on the par 3 they have lights on at night so you can play the 9 hole par 3 and see what ur doing. well he told me that they actually leave these lights on all night after closing! also he said that there are no alarms on the course the only alarm would be if you were to break into the clubhouse. my question is, with the lights on all night, if me and some friends were to stop by the par 3 after closing and play nine holes for free when noones there, is there anyway we could be caught and if so what would the consequences be for someone with a clean record?

  1. Well i wouldent reccomend it cause when something sounds too good to be true it it usually isant.

  2. It sounded too good to be true.  I would think the golf course would turn off most of the lighting since it costs so much to keep them on all night after closing.

In any case, if you get caught, it is trespassing and is against the law, so you will probably have a police record for that.

It's up to you to weight the risk vs free golf.  At the very least, I wouldn't go it very often since the more you do it, the higher the chance you'll get caught.
