Free horse in Ga?

I am wanting to know where I can find a free horse in Ga?

There is no such thing as a free horse.

The purchasing of the horse may be free, but what about the Tack, Grooming supplies, vet and farrier bills, boarding, feed, and hay?

Yeah, that stuff ain't free nor cheap.

horsetopia.com, craigslist and call you vet farrier and see if someone they know is having to part with their horse for any reason.

you will probley not find a horse that is free and is safe.you might be able to get a baby for 100-1,000.

There's no such thing as a "free horse". Even if you don't have to pay anything to get the horse onto your property, there's the vet, farrier, feed, and all that jazz.

I would like to say that there are such things as "free" horses...I personally got 2 of them between Feb-March, one was 5yr.s old and one was 12yrs.old...just post an ad on every website that has horse classifieds, most of the "Horse Wanted" ads are free to place, also check out www.equine.com they have an area on their sight that is for owners to place their free horses in ads, most of them are older or have a soundness issue, but don't let that stop you from looking...it took me awhile to find my 2 Girls...good luck!

I don't know about free - but you could try to run an advertisement on Craigs list or in your local paper. You might get lucky and someone will want to get rid of their horse rather then feed it this winter. You know how much it costs to feed a horse, right?
