  1. The price of the horse is really not a point here it's if you can afford to feed it and properly take care of one

You can go to sales or the humane society,

But remeber it ;s not what it costs

It whats it going to cost you to feed him and take good care of it and a good home meaning he has to have room and shelter ETC

Good luck I am sure you';lll find one save up your MONEY

IT'S GOING TO COST YOU ATLEAST 150.000 a month to feed , and thats Not boarding him do you have a place to keep him ?? and then you have vet bills and then shoeing etc

If I where You I would wait till you could save up some money and then look for one  !!

  2. If you have the funds to support a horse then your set if not there is no point in even getting a free horse.

However if you have the funds then try the race track come the end of racing season. Usually there are some trainers that give the horses away rather then have to look after them in the winter. Keep in mind though you'd have to do some retraining.
