Free ipod touch 2.0 upgrade?

hi my ipod touch is 1.1.5 and i downloaded a bunch of games but i cant add them to my ipod unless its 2.0 is there a way to upgrade my ipod to 2.0 without paying?

Go to one of these 2 websites on firefox and download the file.

Then go on iTunes with ur plugged in iPod hold shift and press "update". Then select ur file and here u go.

Nope; you gotta pay to play, sadly.

Sorry. It would not work out for Apple to give Free software upgrades since the Applications are hosted by other people. You have to pay a flat 10 dollar fee to upgrade. I would say that it is worth it. It is like a game system built into your music player.
