Free online English learning?

Hi, Does anyone know a good free web site to learn to speak English? I particularly interested in UK English with good pronunciations. Looking for help!

First of all I want to say that your English is really good...much better than a lot of "native" speakers you read on Yahoo!

If you want free English courses, useful things to listen to which will improve your pronunciation using a UK accent, use the BBC and its associated links.

Try "ENGLISHTOWN", it's not free.  However, you don't have to join  in order to receive daily extract of lessons (free).  It's been very useful for me and give you lots of tips.  I found it better then the traditional English classes.

I don't know one but it occurs to me that the government should set up a free one. With people coming here from all over the world I think it would encourage them to get a good grasp of the language of their adoptive home.

I'm not sure about that.. but reading novels normally helps.
