Free photoshop download?

I am looking for a free down-loadable photo-shop. I'm looking for a program that will allow me to adjust colors, make certain items in a picture stand out. Also the normal photo-shop tools. Please let me know thanks!!

  1. The GIMP is a powerful image editor that rivals Photoshop in many of its capabilities.

    Many of the editing techniques are similar to those in Photoshop, so much of the  knowledge and experience gained in GIMP is readily  transferrable to Photoshop.
