Free prescriptions for 18 year old full time education?

Ok, i have finished school since its august, I was wondering if that means if im not in full time education?

So no free prescription?

  1. If you are planning to go to uni and are 18 you still get free prescriptions! Make good use of it while you can!!


  2. If you are going on to University you are still in full time education and are exempt until you are 19 years.

  3. if you have been accepted by the uni, you're classed as in full time education, so yes, you can get free prescriptions.

    I did the open university course instead..studying from home, and missed out on the benefits :(

  4. If you'll be a full-time student in the fall, you're probably still covered under your parents' insurance plan and will remain so as long as you remain a full-time student.  But if part-time, you are probably on your own.
