  1. What I do sometimes is practice my backflips alot, then practice running up the wall as far as I can going up.(But I do take a couple of days to train) then just try putting the two tricks together it should help

You need to be able to break that fear, you can't do Parkour/Freerunning if you fear something

  2. just try it with cushons on the ground

  3. A good way to practice a backflip is by standing on the metal frame around the trampoline and flipping into the trampoline. This way you have a soft landing. Just make sure you go backwards! :)

You can also set up cushions and try it that way. I would suggest kind of jumping to the side and not straight back so you can get a feel for it, and then going straight backwards.

Another setup is to get a big belt and attach two ropes to it. You then get two trustworthy friends to hold the ropes, and when you are halfway into your flip, pull up. This lessens any impact you might have.

As far as a backflip off a wall, try starting on a surface that is not totally vertical. If you can, put something up against a wall and then gradually make it steeper. This is how I learned.

Sorry this is so long! If you want, check out my parkour video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3IGgPCNK...
