Free safe parking in Florence?

Hi

I want to park my car for 3 days in Florence. During the 3 days I won't need the car. Anyone got any suggestions where I can park safely and for little or no cost. I don't mind if I have to take public transport into the city from the car park

this is a very difficult question. florence and parking are two words that don't match at all!!!

there couls be the parking at Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, which is dafe, but it costs money. the only thing i can think about is to park near the stadium, but pls look at the signs indicating the times and days of street cleaning service. if you park in a place and the street must be cleaned, your car will be removed.

it's not so easy...let me think, maybe i'll have a better idea...
