  1. U dont need any program or third party.

all u have to do is connect ur ipod but when

itunes opens just leave it. then

    1. connect ur ipod to ur computer.

    2.open my computer.

    3. click on ur ipod.

4.then click on search and click on

    all flies and folders.

    5. then click on more advanced options.

and click on search hidden files and folders

    and then click search.

6.then look at all the folders until u see

one thats named "ipod control" and click on it.

    7. inside that folder there is a folder named music .

click on it and then there are a whole bunch of folders

with #s. all those folder have ur music.

all of ur songs are going to be named all

funny but when u play them they have their regular

name. then just open ur music folder. make new folder and

just copy all the folder into the new folder. then disconnect

ur ipod. and then u can put all the songs in itunes by dragging and dropping.

  2. Give me the best answer award!! Cuz I tell you about SENUTi.. that is itunes spelled backwards. It is a free program that does this.

  3. There is an apple program the is on the Ipod site called music rescue I have it and its was free when I got it.

  4. Download SharePod at http://www.getsharepod.com. SharePod is completely free. It is an excellent software that allows you to copy both music and video files between Ipod and computer. It even has a interface that looks a little like iTunes.  You can even put the SharePod application onto your Ipod and run it from your Ipod. In this case, wherever you are connected to any PC, you can transfer files to/from Ipod and PC. It has play-list features and more.

  5. I've always used Music Rescue, which works great. There isn't much to any software for copying music from an iPod because all it really does is reads the mp3 tags because the file names are hidden. It works with PCs and Macs.

Edit: Doing it manually you have to go through 50 folders and look at the mp3 tags for mp3s in random order will take forever. Finding one entire album spread over 50 folders is ridiculously tedious, that's why you need Music Rescue.

  6. You can try Tansee iPod Transfer which can backup songs and videos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs and videos to new ipod, computer or notebook.

  7. I had the same problem and I found iDump...which sounds weird but was totally free and worked perfectly!

  8. I want to know too.

  9. well i think if you just connect your usb to the computer and then open my computer, click on removable disk. and that should show a list of your songs. just click and drag the songs, or copy them, and put them where you want.

  10. great new. u dont even need software. the program ur thinking of is called i dump. heres a better way and u download nothing. plug in ur ipod. go to my computer. double click on ur ipod. right click and go to properties. on that menu on the bottom it says attributes. click un- hide or something like that. then go to the music folder on ur ipod. then drag and drop the folder anywhere
