Free software to be able to download files from a secure site?

Question

I am needing some direction and hopefully someone know a solution. I run a daily job where I need to download one file from a website by just logging and dwnloading a file to one of my directories. My questions is now do you know of any software or any proagrammes that are free that I use to complete this task for me hopefully with by scheduling a time for this to happen
