  1. If you have a look online at http://www.loquo.com/en_us and look in your location at language exchange, you will find someone you can meet up with to talk in spanish and english for free.

krispybacon is also correct in that the council offers free classes, just look in your area.  The best place to find information for these types of things is the free english street press and magazines that you can find in the irish bars.

  2. I'm in the military and I'm now in Central America on a assignment.  Before I came I went to some local libraries and they have everything you need.  they have all the disc like Rosetta Stone and stuff like that that people pay for but it's free.  But the way I learned was being forced to or I wouldn't get around.

  3. Yes you can, but you must be an expat living in Spain. A lot of the local government provide free Spanish classes. There is one advertised in this months Valencia connect magazine but I assume they do them elsewhere too.

  4. Not free. If you want to learn Spanish you are going to have to pay for it. I get one to one lessons for €5. Thinking about it, that is very reasonable. I don't expect anyone teaching me to do it for nothing.

  5. Don't know which part of Spain you are going to, but usually in September classes start in the local cultural centres. They are not free, but they are not very expensive. Once you have learned a few basic words speak as much as you can with the locals, you will find them reasonably helpful.

  6. not for free my dear. Nobody gives spanish classes for charity.
