Free tent camping in ontario, canada?

We want to go away on camping with our tent by the beach or nice park, is there free ones around in Ontario or Wasaga Beach or anything like that?

You will not find any camping parks that are free. What you will find free is crown land- gov't land - with designated area to camp on. There is no washrooms or anything on this land. Blue lake outside of Vermillon Bay Ontario has such an area, there are many more- check out the site below for info- sorry can't find a list though

Some places yes and some NO, you normally have to pay to get into most national parks now..

i would find out where you wanna go and use google =D

I have checked online and cannot find one place, public or private, where you can legally camp for free.  Tenting is still a reasonable rate.  Why not just pay the money and not have to worry about being tossed from wherever you are for being there illegally ?
