  1. the E111 no longer exists but you can get a free Eiropean card from the post officve, but this can take some time

  5. If you are referring to the "E111" form, this no longer exists.

    Go into a Post Office and ask for the form to apply for a EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) which is what it was replaced with - this will cover you for accidents whilst in any EU country (but read the small print)

    Note that it may take up to a month for the card to reach you once you have sent off the form.

  6. i don't know if anyone is interested but if you get a platinum current account from Lloyd's you get free AA breakdown free travel insurance all year free £ overdraft   250 and free mobile phone insurance it costs £15 a month though but the interest on the overdraft would cost that good eh!
