Free up space on your computer

Question

i want to know if theres more ways to clean up my computer so theres more space in it.....i already did disk cleanup,defragment,i removed temporary files.....and i was wondering if theres more ways to clean up your computer

disable system restore, disable indexing service, uninstall un-needed application (not important), delete file that you don't even remember why is it there...

you could go to the add/remove area in your control paner and remove (uninstall) those programs which you know you have never used, and will never use. I removed microsoft office which was a huge program for office use which I never needed. And I removed quick time because I use media player. There may be others but be sure you do not want those programs because once removed(uninstalled) they are gone! Good luck.

move files that take a lot of space onto an external backup source

  music, movies, documents

go to add/ remove programs list and take out the ones you don't use...it'll tell you how often you use it... OH and if a program already has a uninstall thing use that don't remove it manually using add/remove programs..

Delete unnecessary or old files.

Or get a bigger hard drive. ;)
