Free video editor?

Question

ok so my problem is that my camera doesnt work with windows movie maker. So i was wondering what is a free video editor that is as good as or better than sony vegas. Something that uploads easily to youtube. And so that you can reverse a video when editing it and save it like that like sony vegas does.

Please add a lot of detais about the video editors that you post on this.

There aren't many editors that are better than Vegas at any price - there are no free ones!  WMM is probably the best free editor for Windows - if you can't use it, try converting the video using Super.  WMM can't reverse video, so if that's important to you try Googling for "Avisynth", "Virtualdub" and "reverse video" - you'll find lots of tutorials.
