recently learned to code html in school

it has to support html

or both html and xhtml

doesn't have to have a page editor or anything like that just has to accept html

Recommend you try Microsoft Office Live Small Business, a free service - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . You can upload your own HTML very easily using its web folder - drag and drop (you just need to turn on third-party design tool under advanced design features in page manager to switch on this mode). It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year (still have a subdomain to use).
