Freebie winner?10 points!?

For seventeen.com and cosmogirl.com ,how do you know if you won a freebie? I know that there is a list of names on the website, but do you get contacted?(Please don't answer "I don't know")

Be weary of anything that is "free" especially if they advertise it on the internet. Don't ever give your name and address and/or credit card information to anyone (even if it looks legit) if you did not solicit THEM... in other words, don't give out your personal information unless you are 100% sure that they are a reputable company.

I'm pretty sure that you get sent an email. because you enter yourself by email right? this was what they did for Girls Life magazine, so i think it's probably the same.

They don't call you or anything.  They just mail you the freebie.  That's why you have to give your addy when you sign up for it.

you generally have to contact them with a request for the contest winner list.

The fine print near the freebie notice should give you details on how to find out the winners...
