Freebord vs Carvestik vs Mountain Borad?

I want to get a board that will make me feel like I'm snowboarding, I was going to get the freebord because you can do freestyle but I don't want to get injured before the next snow season, the freebord has good reviews but has some cons like can catch an edge and other things, the mountain board is cool cause you can go off rails and build dirt jumps like snowboarding but if you fall it hurts like @#*$, and the carvestik can't do any freestyle but is cool cause you can carve on flat ground and other things, which board for freestyle and which board for just riding.Thanks

You can catch an edge on anything. Freebords are sick. I have never seen anyone catchy an edge on one.
