My friend said that if I was looking for a pet, (I'm searching for a guinea pig) I should look on freecycle. However, there's no such thing as freecycle.com, so what do I put in as the web address? She said that I put out an add saying I want a pet and people will respond. Did I mishear her when she said freecycle? Other then petfinder.com, does anyone know any good adaption sites? Any response is GREAT, because I'm very confused.

  1. www.freecycle.org is the only freecycle I am aware of.

    Good luck!

  2. FreeCycle is a group for people to get rid of unwanted items they don't need like clothes, books, cages, etc. People don't give away animals on FreeCycle. Your choice is PetFinder, or simple put in google search "adopting a guinea pig in ______(state)" and you might find some breeders or people that are selling them for you to get. Also check your newspaper ads! Good luck.

  3. it is freecycle .org and when you go to that site you type the name of the area you live in to get the closest one to you I'm a member of freecycle in my home town and here we do not have PET post that may just be for our area only but you can still try for your area it maybe different. hope this helps you out.
