EXCEEDING YOUR LIMIT:

For unknown reasons, some fellow Freecycle.org users feel the need to send UNWANTED emails notifying an abuser of the rules.....to threaten, warn, police and monitor others instead of letting the service give that warning!!! Why?

  1. Freecycle.org is the parent group, and don't manage individual groups and their postings.

Some moderator of individual groups put a limit on the number of posts - usually only on the number of Wanteds, not Offers. It is the choice of the local moderator - for example, in my group, you have to wait one week before you can repeat the same Wanted.

If you have a good argument (and "I need lots of stuff!" isn't a good argument), you might send a polite note to the moderators. You can find their email by going to the home page and looking for the -owners email.
